Story Time!

Oh boy! The girls are so very happy and can't get enough of you reading to them! We just got the books and video of you in the mail today -Officer Buckle and Gloria, Hope is an open heart. I am so glad you read to them, it means so much to them and to me. We love to watch you and hear your voice. I am so grateful that the USO, set up this great program for the kids.. It is very thoughtful. The hope book won't play for some reason, not on the dvd player or computer... But the other video will and we're very excited abou that. Thank you honey for doing this! I love you so very much! The glasses

When we went to the Ross' for Christmas dinner, they had a Christmas Pinata' for the kids. Fun huh. The kids had a blast! Ashley got these at that time and even now as they are broken she will still wear them just about all the time. And she has this seriousness about it too, she is not doing it for fun, these are necessary glasses for her sight! I just think it is too funny! That girl...The girls room
The other dresser is in the closet, it is going to be tricky to fit all their toys and stuff in here once Landon will move into their other room, the "playroom".. But it will work out. I'm probably moving him in there right before you come home for R&R, he'll be over 5 months old in March. I have noticed the girls are getting a long better as they share a room. This change was a good one.

Christmas baking!
I'm just a girl who smells like a cookie
Kiersten Graddy brought these over in a cute little Christmas container last night. I haven't tried the chocolate chip cookies yet, but the little chocolate balls I tried... And oh, myyyy gossshh! They hit the spot! I'm going to ask her for the recipe because I'm going to have to make these for you. I think you will really like them too. They are chocolate balls filled with some kind of a...crispie...goey...yummi....um... they're good okay! I had two and that was enough, they're pretty rich.
Your baby...
As we had the Van in the shop for new brakes, I took the chance of putting your truck in the garage. I first cleared it of snow, as it had snowed all night. Then I had to get it out of it's parking spot. I didn't realize how strong the truck actually is and I dug right through the big snow bank as I backed it up with ease! The garage had tons of water on the floor after the Truck had "de-thawed". It had so much hard ice baked in on it! I have decided to try to bring it in for de-thawing once a month or so. I think it might be good for it. The truck looks great, don't you think?!
The cutest boy in the world..

These aren't the best pictures taken but I took them one night when he was in a real good mood. I'm holding him in one arm, taking a picture in the other. He loves to be held and seeing stuff around him. I like these pictures because he is such a cutie and they show different sides and moods in him.. He is perfect to me, from his head to his little toes! I can't get enough of the little guy!
