Snow fall

It has been snowing twice this week. Not much at all, but enough to cover and the need to shovel. It is not hard work at all, it really is just dry powder like you said. It's actually nice to do some work out there, it helps to clear my mind in a way. The tricky thing is the timing of it, since I want Landon to be kept nice and warm inside. Tonight, Landon slept in the car seat, Megan was in bed and Ashley came out side with me. She helped some and had fun playing around a little. Doesn't it look great?!

Dinner time

Doesn't that look delicious? BBQ chicken, rice and left over carrots...
Here's the gang. Landon is always sitting up there with us in his bouncer. He does real good that way, and I have been able to eat at least part of the time with the girls because of that. He is such a good and patient little boy. The girls have been eating very good all week. I started to use a timer, usually set it for 20 minutes for them to eat and that seems to get them going... Otherwise they could sit there for hours as you can remember.

So Stinkin Cute.

Little Landon 7 weeks old. It almost sounds like he is laughing...almost but not really. He is a little stinker -Literally! (you heard that fart right..??)

You're a genius

Remember the crazy parking lot at the PX and Commissary? Look at this... They did just what you said they should do the other day! Align it all with some rope, so that "some people" would know where to park. I thought it was funny. Another great idea from my hubby..

Our Thanksgiving Dinner

We went to church for a pot-luck feast. They had 4 tables full of all kinds of typical thanksgiving dishes. Every family brought 2-3 side dishes and the church supplied the turkey and ham. We had so much food, my gosh! You know how we always used to run out of food on the linger longer Sundays? Well, not this time! We only had 1/3 of the ward show up, but we all brought more, so we had a ton, it was nice! I brought some rolls, baby carrots and that pumpkin bread we got last evening. (read below..)
Here's the girls enjoying their dinner. They ate really good, and then they got to pick dessert when they finished.
Ashley said the food passed inspections.
Time for dessert. Megan went straight to the chocolate cake! The girls were both eyeing this cake the minute they saw it. They even started to worry that it would be gone by the time they finished their dinner, so they ate really fast. Ashley stuffed her mouth full of an entire roll just so she could be all done with her food and go with Megan to get some cake too.
Ashley is getting some whipped cream on the side of her chocolate cake. And I had some pumpkin pie of course, and yeah, then a tiny slice of pecan pie! It was soooo good! Happy Thanksgiving to us!

Happy Thanksgiving neighbor

Look what a delisious piece of bread our neighbors brought us this evening! Isn't that nice of them. You know the family with the grey Durango.... They said it is pumpkin bread, something I've never had before but it's sounds good. Have you had it?

Indian

Here's the Thanksgiving Indian. She decorated her dress, made the feathers, glued them to her hat all at school. She did a great job, she look cute.

Oh Boy..

The girls burst into hysterical laughter one night. They had taken som sunglasses and put them on their brothers face. He looks pretty funny but cute still huh! I bet they will be dressing him up and doing all kinds of pampering to him through the years... Oh Boy, I'm sure he can see it coming allready.

Good night Baby

It's ten oclock. the kids are in bed. We had a crazy day today, lots of emotions from everyone.
Meg and Ashley played outside twice, 15 minutes each. It is pretty cold so i keep a timmer on to make sure they don't stay out there too long. I think it's great that they like to go out there, get rid of some energy and get in some sun light too..
I cleaned of that counter today!! Are you proud?! Shocked? It looks great! Wonder how long that will last. Turnd up the music as we cleaned a little, and I did my Robot dance, it made the girls laugh. I want to hear them laugh everyday, you always play with them, get silly with them and they laugh. I want to keep that up somehow, I'll do my best.
Megan had a little hard time to going to bed, she was missing you. Hopefully it will go better each night. I am going to try to start preparing them for bed earlier, and not rush it so much. That way it will relax them more and help them go to sleep better. It's hard to keep it cool when they are sad. I'm also getting frustrated, but I am working on it. I need to be a better mom, I know that. Alot of things need to change.. I am trying.
I hope tomorrow will be better and easier. One day down...

Hope you got to Ireland safely, that your flight went well, that you got some sleep and some good stuff to eat. Take good care of your self babe..

I miss you baby, I keep thinking you're going to walk through that door from work any minute now.. But you won't.
Aw, I love you so much Honey. I'll always love you. Have a good night where ever you are..
