We went to church for a pot-luck feast. They had 4 tables full of all kinds of typical thanksgiving dishes. Every family brought 2-3 side dishes and the church supplied the turkey and ham. We had so much food, my gosh! You know how we always used to run out of food on the linger longer
Sundays? Well, not this time! We only had 1/3 of the ward show up, but we all brought more, so we had a ton, it was nice! I brought some rolls, baby carrots and that
pumpkin bread we got last evening. (read below..)

Here's the girls enjoying their dinner. They ate really good, and then they got to pick dessert when they finished.

Ashley said the food passed inspections.

Time for dessert. Megan went straight to the chocolate cake! The girls were both eyeing this cake the minute they saw it. They even started to worry that it would be gone by the time they finished their dinner, so they ate really fast. Ashley stuffed her mouth full of an entire roll just so she could be all done with her food and go with Megan to get some cake too.

Ashley is getting some whipped cream on the side of her chocolate cake. And I had some
pumpkin pie of course, and yeah, then a tiny slice of pecan pie! It was
soooo good! Happy Thanksgiving to us!
